Marrakech, the red city

With the green palm trees, blue sky and the Atlas mountains in the background covered with snow an incredible site.

Explore the old Medina, the Souks, Jma El Fna, Museums, the Koutobia Mosque, the Saadien Tombs and many beautiful gardens. A must see is the Majorelle garden with its exotic trees, plants and flowers and that famous majorelle blue color you will find surfacing all over in Marrakech. There is the old city Medina, and the new one, Gueliz.

You have to visit some of the riads, they are magical places where you can rent the rooms and live in a different world. Wonderful restaurants with entertainment, nightlife and dancing.

Or you can just sit out by the cafe's and enjoy people watching, of course you don't get to see people only, you see horse carriages, donkeys, and mules pulling their carts, people transporting everything on the back of their available cart, velo, moped, or what ever they have, it is amazing. It is worthwhile just watching. Explore Marrakech on your own, it has endless possibilties, you want to see and experience.
